Anvil Heads at the Beach

After 5 days of rain and drizzle, the sun finally came out today. Still, there was supposed to be a 40% chance of thunderstorms; not an idle threat as you can seen them here over the eastern shore.
And towering to the north. This one passed by to the west close enough the we heard some rumbles but did not get a drop of rain.
The Preznit may have been visiting.
A real anvil head (cumulonumbus incus) over the eastern shore.
. . . a cumulonimbus cloud which has reached the level of stratospheric stability and has formed the characteristic flat, anvil-top shape. They can form into supercells resulting in severe storm phenomena such as tornadoes.
Still, the fishing must go on. Hungry chicks await. And the eagles demand their tax.
