99%ers Trash New York, Wear Out Welcome

The "Occupy Wall Street" Protesters of New York, who claim to represent the 99% of the populace (maybe if you count Norwegian Rats) have begun to make an impact, and it's not favorable.

Michael Bloomberg, liberal Mayor of New York criticized the demonstrators:
What they’re trying to do is to take the jobs away from people working in the city. They’re trying to take away the tax base we have because none of this is good for tourism, There’s no easy solutions here.”

“if the jobs they are trying to get rid of in this city, the people that work in finance — which is a big part of our economy — go away, we’re not going to have any money to pay our municipal employees or clean the parks or anything else.”
So far, the demonstrations have cost the city an additional 2 million dollars in police overtime.

Conditions at Zuccoti Park, where the filthy hippies demonstrators have camped out, planning on an indefinite stay, have steadily deteriorated. According the park owners:
...because the protestors refuse to cooperate…the park has not been cleaned since Friday, September 16th and as a result, sanitary conditions have reached unacceptable levels.”
However, the protesters have received some political support.  SCOMF President Barack Hussein Obama said:
...the American people understand that not everybody’s been following the rules, and that Wall Street is an example of that... and that’s going to express itself politically in 2012 and beyond until people feel like once again we’re getting back to some old-fashioned American values.... banks “can’t be competing on the basis of hidden fees, deceptive practices or derivative cocktails that nobody understands and that expose the entire economy to enormous risks”.
Former Speakeress of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, (D, Fantasy Land) lauded the demonstrators:
"God bless them," Pelosi said, "for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, and it's focused. And it's going to be effective."

"The message of the protesters is a message for the establishment everyplace," said the House Democrats' leader. "No longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street."
One of the demonstrators showed his independent, spontaneous, focused and effective message against recklessness on Wall Street by taking a crap on a police car.

Mr. Obama and Mrs. Pelosi have apparently not found it advantageous to comment on that.
