Eagle, Eagle, Eagle

We got a call from Charlie this morning just before it was time to go to the beach.  It seems Charlie had just bought a new long lens for his Nikon, and he was looking for Bald Eagles to try it out on.  We promised to do what we could to find them (which is basically to look up while we walk).
We met Charlie and Cheyenne about half way down to the steps at Calvert Beach.
A gull on the "Posing Post".  I would guess this post is occupied by a bird of some sort at least half the time we pass by.
As we approached the area where the eagle hang out, one obligingly flew in and took a pose out on a branch overhanging the cliff.
It was soon joined by two more, one an adult by the colors, and the second (below), clearly a juvenile.
So we had three eagles to choose from within sight at one time.  It will be interesting to see what kind of shots Charlie can get with his super lens..
Skye and Cheyenne high stepping.  Skye is certainly limping around today.
A boat load of people taking a sail boat out of the harbor.  It may be a motor cruise today, though, as there was very little wind
