This
Rule 5 post was inspired by
"Ghosts of Mars" (2001) a truly awful SciFi movie starring
Natasha Henstridge as the hot chick (right), gratuitously shown dressing, (right). It's about the best thing about the film, except for some equally gratuitous violence. I think that was on the second day of "Hurricane Sandy", after the cable came back.
Despite the name, Natasha is Canadian, from Newfoundland, which she and her relatives must have shared with a handful of other folks, as the weather there truly sucks (except they rarely have hurricanes, do they?).
In 2009, Henstridge did a guest spot on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. During this she demonstrated a Newfoundland custom called "Screeching In" which involved getting O'Brien to drink Newfoundland Screech rum and kiss a large fish.[8]
She came to the public's attention with
"Species" (1995), and its sequels II and III, where she starred as the alien predator with a sex drive. You can imagine why they didn't cast Rosanne Barr for that part. She doesn't seem to suffer much from

She has a decent, if not stellar movie resume, and has been in a number of TV shows as well, including a role as the School principal (hot for principal?) in the two season "Secret Circle" on CW. Despite her presence there, I couldn't get into it.
