Beach Report 7/16/24

A hot day today, 95 at home, in the upper 80s near the water, if you can believe the thermometers at Cove Point or Gooses Reef
Only a few taking taking advantage of the beach.

Not the best day for fossils, but I found this big hastalis (White Shark) lower. The root is sadly worn, but the blade is intact, with at total length of 1 3/16 inches. A few other teeth and a couple of stingray barbs made up the rest.
