Whew, long day. No photos. Sorry.
Ski and his longtime friend Derek chartered the trip with their two teenage sons, and opted to go south looking for the big blues and redfish, rather than go north and have a pretty clear shot a wide variety of smaller fish. We hit Cedar Point in the dawn, and I believe everybody caught at least one good striper there. Unfortunately, we were fishing for reds, specks and blues. We hightailed it to the middle grounds, where birds dicking away at bait gave us hope, but nothing. We ended up at the jetty at Smith Island where we caught quite a few striper but nothing else. We tried the Middle Grounds on the way home, with better weather, but not more fish.
