A pleasant but unremarkable beach walk

The air was cool but still, and misty, making photography a bit tough.  Sometimes the point and shoot camera couldn't find enough contrast to focus:

It froze pretty hard last night.  Here groundwater coming out of the the sand layer hits a clay layer, which forces it to come out the side of cliff instead of percolating down:




















One of the eagles was in his or her perch overlooking the beach:



















And the swans have increased in numbers from last weekend:



















Fossil hunting was poor, only five or so teeth between us for our 3 mile walk, and a few bits of broken polished beach glass that we'll give to our friend who makes jewelry out of it.
