RIP Queen Liz, DOJ Appeals 'Special Master' Decision, 'Red Sermon' Polls Poorly

Anybody who sees, hears, or feels (can't leave out the blind brail users can we?) knows that yesterday Queen Elizabeth the second died, leaving the fate of the Monarchy to her son, the new King Charles the whatever. I don't have a lot to say except that, in Elizabeth, the English got far better than they deserved. She was good enough to make the monarchy seem appealing.

As we expected, the DOJ has filed an appeal to Judge Aileen Cannon's ruling allowing a so called 'special master' to decide which items taken in the Mar-a-Lago panty raid we properly taken and which were protected by legal and executive privileges. WaPoo whines that the Justice Dept. seeks to regain access to classified Mar-a-Lago documents, "As they noted their plans to appeal, prosecutors said they must be able to access classified documents to determine if there are more to be found"  Herr Professor Jacobsen at LI, Mar-a-Lago Raid: Feds Ask Judge To Partially Stay Special Master Order, Will Appeal If Don’t Get Their Way  "“the government seeks a stay to the extent the Order (1) enjoins the further review and use for criminal investigative purposes of records bearing classification markings … and (2) requires the government to disclose those classified records to a special master for review.”"

The feds continued to leak like crazy after the order, in a form of lashing out, getting the word out to The Washington Post that some of the documents related to a foreign government’s nuclear program (the leak didn’t say that such documents were classified). For years during Russia Collusion attacks, whenever there was a news cycle that might help Trump in the public eye, the feds leak something to grab back the news cycle; that tactic seems to be renewing itself.

Regardless, the feds were not happy with the result, and filed a Motion for a Partial Stay Pending Appeal with Judge Cannon. Procedurally, they have to ask the District Court for a stay before seeking a stay in the appeals court. That certainly will happen if Judge Cannon turns them down.

A third of Republicans said it was unlikely that the GOP would vote to impeach.

Election 2020: Michigan Reheating

First, we'll review the Maricopa County shenanigans. Stu Cvrk at Red State explains why Why the Democrats Are Totally Panicked About the Arizona Audit. It would be the first domino to really fall, and bust the narrative of the "Big Lie."

HE has an AUDIT UPDATE: Maricopa County Officials Refuse to Hand Over Routers to Arizona Senate, which generally implies they have something to hide. Sundance at CTH posts AZ GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward Exposes The Big Lie Behind Maricopa County Refusing to Permit Review of Router System During Ballot Audit
There are no other networks or servers connected to the voting system. The boards justification is a fraud. The auditors are demanding a review of the electronic router system used in the ballot tabulation process. The auditors and State Senate are likely to battle Maricopa county in court. This is an interesting update….

"A makeshift review of the vote in the state’s largest county has pleased followers of former President Donald J. Trump but is being widely criticized as a partisan exercise."

And onto Antrim County, Michigan, where it's pretty clear a big booboo happened during the machine counting, initially giving the victory to Biden, with a hand count restoring the victory to Trump, but it's not clear exactly how that happened. Sundance hosted the live stream of a hearing into what happened, which is now a YouTube, Antrim County Court Hearing on Ballot Tabulation Fraud – 1:30pm Livestream. Some results from that hearing. First, also from Sundance, Direct Evidence of Intentional Dominion Ballot Counting and Tabulation Fraud Submitted to Court in Michigan Following Forensic Audit of Antrim County Ballot Counting Systems

This appears to be a rather big deal. In the Antrim County, Michigan lawsuit, the lawyer for plaintiff William Bailey has just submitted direct evidence of ballot counting manipulation within the electronic ballot counting system.

Attorney Matthew DePerno has submitted the results of a forensic audit showing how votes were manipulated in the county tabulation system. [Supplemental Brief Here]

Dan Chaitin, WaEx, Michigan attorney alleges 1,061 'phantom ballots' found in Antrim County 2020 election case

Matthew DePerno, who is representing Antrim County resident William Bailey, said a recount in December tallied 15,962 ballots, but only 14,901 votes were shown in the Michigan secretary of state's database, meaning 1,061 don't exist on voter rolls.

This alleged discovery of "phantom ballots," DePerno wrote in a recent filing, supports the need for an audit of the county results. Other irregularities that warrant a closer look, according to DePerno, are data showing a near 100% turnout among voters aged 65 to 80 and 1 in 5 ballots being sent to P.O. boxes.

Sundance, President Trump Draws Attention to Antrim County, Michigan, Election Lawsuit – Judge Will Rule on Today’s Evidence Hearing May 18th. But regardless of Antrim County, there won't be enough to overturn Michigan, where the President* Biden's margin of "victory" was about 150,000. The search would need to be widened.  In that regard, note Joe Hoft's post at Gateway Pundit, THIS IS BIG: US Census Bureau Confirms HUGE CONFLICT in Total Number of Voters in 2020 Election

Election Wiz: US Census data released last week called into question the official vote tally from the 2020 election. As part of the Census, the government collects data on citizens who self-report as having voted in presidential elections. The collected data shows an unusual anomaly in the reported results.

According to the Census, the recorded number of people voting in 2020 was tallied at 154,628,000. On the other hand, official results place the number of actual ballots cast slightly north of 158 million. That’s a discrepancy of nearly four million votes.

Speaking to pollster Richard Baris during an episode of “Inside the Numbers,” lawyer Robert Barnes said historically, the Census tends to “pin on the nose” the recorded vote numbers with the actual results. In other words, often the two data sets reasonably match.

This was a rather unusual election for a lot of reasons, so this could just be bad sampling by the census, or somebody, or a group of somebodies could have invented 3.5 million votes. They should be able to look at the census data by region and determine where those overvotes came from.  Now, if most of those extra votes turned out to be located in the five crucial cities, wouldn't that would be interesting?

They Say It's Your Birthday

The British monarch turns 93 today
This morning, Queen Elizabeth turned 93, and the British monarch celebrated her birthday by attending Easter church services in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle alongside several members of her family. Prince William and Kate were in attendance, as were Princess Anne and her two children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall and their spouses. Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, and Prince Edward and his family were all there as well.

But there were still a few missing faces in the crowd. While Harry walked down the hill alongside his cousins, his wife Meghan stayed home, likely as she is just days away from her due date. Prince Philip also skipped this morning's events, as did Prince Charles and Camilla, who are currently in Scotland.
93? That's old. Well, Happy Birthday. Britain has done a lot worse in the past!

Is That All You Got?

Russia claims Queen 'downs cocktails all day' and Theresa May 'has a brandy habit'
Russia has slammed the Queen for downing gin, wine and champagne every day in a 'fake news' propaganda blast against the UK.

Senator Aleksey Pushkov, an ally of President Vladimir Putin, said the monarch treats drinking like a "ceremony" while Prime Minster Theresa May has a brandy habit.

The politician claimed tell-tale mannerisms reveal the pair as 'unpleasant' heavy drinkers.

According to the Sun, Pushkov told Staterun TV: "Before dinner she [Her Majesty] drinks a cocktail made from gin and another based on wine, with ice and lemon.

"After the meal, she has a glass of wine with a bar of chocolate.

"She also drinks dry Martini. At the end of the day, she likes to drink cool champagne."

If Prince Charles were my kid and heir to the throne, I'd probably drink steadily too.
Wine expert Elina Denisover said the PM revealed her secret tipple by the way she cupped her glass - warming the contents, rather than holding the stem.

She said: "You will get drunk quicker and it is just not pleasant.

"It means that May got used to another kind of glass - for Cognac."

Senior Tory MP Bernard Jenkin said the 'absurd' comments were aimed at undermining Britain's claim Russia tried to kill ex-spy Sergei Skripal, 66, and Yulia Skripal, 33.
Maybe she just feels it's more secure holding the stem, especially after several glasses

Her Majesty's a Pretty Nice Girl

Her first drink... enjoyed shortly before lunch, is a gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and a “lot of ice.”...
Then, during lunch, she’ll have a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine at meal’s end...
O.K., then, also at lunch, the Queen drinks a dry gin martini....
Her final drink of the day?... a glass of Champagne before bed.
Champagne before bed? That's just silly.
She's 91, and it's working out fine for her. But what about the rest of us? I'm seeing: "Moderate and heavy drinkers had 2-fold higher odds of living to age 85 without cognitive impairment relative to non-drinkers."
In a statement, the university said that, “By its (federal) definition, moderate drinking involves consuming up to one alcoholic beverage a day for adult women of any age and men aged 65 and older; and up to two drinks a day for adult men under age 65.
“Heavy drinking is defined as up to three alcoholic beverages per day for women of any adult age and men 65 and older; and four drinks a day for adult men under 65. Drinking more than these amounts is categorized as excessive.”
So by the "federal" (i.e., U.S. government) definition, the Queen is an excessive drinker.
Sort of puts a different light on this photo:

Best comment:
"the Queen is an excessive drinker"

If you had Charles as a son, you'd drink too.

Middleton will “deploy a couture wardrobe of day dresses with lower hemlines than she has previously favoured” on an upcoming trip to Australia, the Mail reports. The queen has even lent her the services of her most trusted staff members to dress the Duchess in a less provocative manner.

Queen Liz Throws Charles a Bone

Queen hands over the reigns to Prince Charles - historic step closer to a new king
Her Majesty to hand duties over to Prince Charles in an historic job share which experts say marks a gentle succession.

It is being dubbed the “gentle succession” – as the Queen gradually begins to relinquish some of her traditional duties as monarch.

As she approaches her 88th birthday in April after almost 62 years on the throne, she has agreed to hand over part of her workload in a historic “job-share” arrangement with Prince Charles.

In a royal first, he will be taking on more head of state-style responsibilities as
the Palace starts to make tentative plans for his eventual succession.

Courtiers yesterday described the softly-softly move as “wise” – and “just plain common sense”.
Queen Liz is one of the classics.  She served in WWII as a truck driver, and got the job handed down to her inadvertently when one of her idiot relatives (of whom she has a great many) decided to marry for love, not power.
The first sign of the partial power transfer will be the merging this week of the Queen and Charles’s press offices.

In future any announcements concerning the monarch and her 65-year-old
eldest son will now come from the same source. Palace sources insist the switch will be entirely seamless.
We have long wondered why the Queen has not handed the job off to Charles in the past; I mean other than the fact that he's kind of a stupid boob.  This photo may explain it.
