Got up with great intentions to get right on this. When I went to take Gabby her morning milk, I noticed she felt hot, and looked flush, so I took her temperature, and yikes! It was 105 F! Georgia gave her Ibuprofen to bring down the fever, and arranged an emergency trip to the pediatrician, and off we went. The pediatrician, a very nice woman of Indian (as in Asia) extraction, tested her for both flu and Covid. Covid came back negative, but flu came back positive for the A strain. We have a prescription for Tamiflu, with instructions to use it, unless it makes her sick, keep her hydrated, and alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen to keep the fever down. Anyway, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it:
