Sydney Sweeney Defends Herself Against Accusations Of Being Oversexualized:
“I Find Power In My Femininity” I'll just bet she does.
A Barbarella film is currently in development and there are already complaints
about using actress Syndey Sweeney to encourage the concept of ‘the male
gaze.’
The Emmy-nominee actress is currently set to star in, and
executive produce, a new Barbarella movie for Sony Pictures. The film will be
based on the 1968 cult classic movie that starred Jane Fonda as a space
adventurer who was sent by the Earth’s president to retrieve the evil
scientist Durand Durand from the Tau Ceti planetary system.
The
Sony backed project is far from seeing the light of day as a writer and
director has yet to be selected for the project. Sweeney, who is known for her
role in the HBO series Euphoria, is excited to play the cult classic character
on the big screen and she is dismissing any concerns about portraying the more
sexually-charged aspects of the story.
“I find power in my
femininity,” she said. “I use my brain, and I use everything that I’m learning
every single day in this industry as my power. Knowledge is everything.”

Celebrity Star Wars Actress Keri Russell Admits She Escaped ‘The Micky Mouse
Club’ With “My Sanity. My Dignity. Not Everyone Got Out Alive”
Actress Keri Russell, who played Zorii Bliss in The Rise of Skywalker,
recently admitted that she escaped The Mickey Mouse Club with her sanity and
dignity. Not only did she reveal she escaped with those intact, she bluntly
stated that not everyone who was on the show did.
Russell recently
performed an interview with W Magazine’s Lynn Hirschberg who noted that
Russell was a Mouseketeer. The actress responded, “Some of those people are
still my best friends—Ilana [Miller] and Lindsey [Alley]. I was there at a
time when there were a lot of famous kids there. And I say this completely,
truthfully like I was literally the least talented one there. I’m not
kidding.”
She elaborated, “When you look at those kids, I’m like,
why in the world did they pick me? It’s crazy. But, you know, Christina
Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling, and Britney Spears. It was
wild.”
. . .
Russell did not elaborate on what took place during her
time at The Mickey Mouse Club that would result in her costars losing their
sanity and dignity.
Taylor Swift Has Reportedly Turned Down The Chance To Play The Super Bowl
LVIII Halftime Show
Swift, 33, is currently in the middle of her highly-successful ‘Eras Tour’,
which will encompass 146 shows across five continents and is expected to be
the first concert series to gross
well over $1 Billion. Consistently one of the most recognizable and searched celebrities in the
world, 2023 has been her year.
So, culminating that by rocking the
house with her afterglow would make a lot of sense. But apparently, there will
be no reason for The Swifties to watch the Super Bowl this year. A recent
report from
Hits Daily Double
says T-Swizzle turned down the opportunity to headline the halftime show in
Las Vegas.
“Taylor Swift, who would be a logical choice given her
mind-blowingly successful year, has supposedly passed,” the report states. “We
don’t know if this is just spin from Swift Nation HQ and she wants a big check
from the NFL rather than incurring the substantial cost of mounting the show.”
So, either she doesn't want to miss the game or she's afraid of upstaging it, am

NASCAR Driver Hailie Keegan Criticizes West Coast Vs. East Coast Racing
Culture: “Like Constantly Having To Watch Your Back So Someone Doesn’t Stab
It”
Hailie Deegan, a rising star in motorsports, recently shared her experiences
of transitioning from California’s racing scene to North Carolina’s, as part
of
NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program. Speaking with Kenny Wallace on his podcast, Deegan elaborated on the stark
contrasts she noticed between the East and West Coast racing cultures, making
it clear that not everyone who appears friendly is behaves the same behind the
scenes.
“People don’t realize how different the East Coast and West
Coast racing worlds are. They are two different worlds totally separate
worlds,” said Deegan when asked by Wallace about the major differences between
drivers on each coast.
Wallace took the opportunity to ask her to
dive deeper into her response.
“It’s different it’s the people,
it’s how people get along is very different,” she replied. “Like I was so used
to like everyone’s buddies. Like we all yeah, we all might take each other
out. But like we’re all kind of cool after the race and like we’ll probably
all go hang out and like, it’s like your kind of group of people.
OK. So she's not so deep. What do expect from somebody who drives around in

From Althouse,
"Her husband, whom she met when she was 21 and he was 81, dictated
precisely what shade of nail polish she should wear (pink, pale and sheer,
never matte)..." Hugh Hefner was creepy? Whoda thunk!
"... and gently tapped her on the head when her roots were showing. When he
was in residence, he issued a 6pm curfew ensuring his young wife was home to
share his dinner (always chicken soup with cream cheese and crackers) and
watch his favourite movies. Then, after dark, she was expected to
participate in the group sex for which Hefner was famous. 'It was
embarrassing. I don't know the most people there'd been in our bedroom at
one time but – a lot. Pretty bad. We were like, "Oh, now it's your turn."
Nobody really wanted to be there but I think in Hef's mind, he still thought
he was in his 40s, and those nights, the people, the mansion, solidified
that idea. He felt, "I've still got it."' There were also the famous 'Sunday
Fundays' when 200 young women would descend on the Playboy mansion. Its
octogenarian owner took so much Viagra that it made him lose his hearing on
one side (a recognised side effect of the drug). 'Hef always said he'd
rather be deaf and still able to have sex. Weird,' says Crystal...."
