Massive Fish Kill on Chesapeake Bay: Seen Here First!

I first reported at large number of dead Spot on the beach in this post on Dec. 27.  A few days later, a large kill of Spot was reported farther up the Bay on this fishing forum on Dec 31:





















The Associated Press has picked it up from a MD DNR press release, and today it was in a number around newspapers and news outlets in the region:
