Beach Report 7/11/23

A sunny summer day, a few fluffy clouds, and not enough wind to do much cooling. Good thing is was only about 80 F out/
The tide was about half way down, and, in a few areas, there were nice long stretches with good shell and gravel
We found about 17 sharks teeth, some crab claws and a drum tooth. This big parasymphyseal Snaggletooth was the best, and indeed, just a hair bit bigger than the nearly identical tooth I found a couple days ago.
A word about Skye. Yesterday, I didn't have the car and she and I walked down, did the full walk up to the boulders, and walked home, a total of about 5 miles. We took it slow, and she rested in the stream, but she made it pretty well, though she was a little shaky coming up the hill behind our house. And after a couple hours of rest she bounced back. Anyway, she seems to have largely recovered from whatever misadventure caused her so much trouble a couple of months ago.
