Two amazing discoveries along Southern Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay shoreline have captured the nation’s attention in recent months: a massive fossilized whale skull and a megalodon’s mega-tooth. Both were uncovered not by paleontologists, but amateur beachcombers including a 9-year-old girl.
