We've seen the paper shrink in size and content, and become more virulently "progressive" over the last ten years. Occasionally we have to threaten to quit to get a better deal, but it works. In the last couple of years they went from carrier delivery (which was only a little unreliable) to mail delivery, making it an afternoon arrival, and not on Sundays or holidays. I call it yesterday's news tomorrow. At this point, the only reason to get it is the crossword puzzles, and to yell or snicker at.
