Reports are she needed emergency surgery. I was on a bathroom break during Lindsey's run and missed it live, but suspect it will be rerun many times. It's quite likely an unfortunate end to a long, successful athletic carrier, but plagued with injuries. The event was eventually won by fellow American skier Breezy Johnson.
