Flotsam and Jetsam - Mohammed Abdulrahmen El-Sayed Betrayed!

PJM's Matt Margolis reports on this HUGE Development in Michigan that Could Be the Nail in the Coffin of El-Sayed’s Campaign. Fox News @FoxNews, "BREAKING: A surprise political twist in Michigan as Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens appears alongside Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers at a Detroit church, abandoning plans to attend a unity event with Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed. @GarrettTenney reports the Rogers campaign reached out to Stevens at the last minute following a dispute over a controversial pro-El-Sayed PAC ad that Stevens criticized as antisemitic. El-Sayed has since said he disagrees with the ad, but Stevens has also demanded an apology for his own past remarks about Israel. The unexpected appearance comes just two days before voters head to the polls." Capt. Ed at Hat Hair notes Stevens Appears With Rogers After El-Sayed Snub; UPDATE: Full Endorsement. At Althouse goes to the NYT for "The Democratic representative who lost a primary fight against Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, the progressive Democratic Senate nominee in Michigan, endorsed his Republican opponent on Sunday...." NYPo, El Sayed courted voters at mosques where speakers dubbed US ‘House of Satan’ and called for ‘final annihilation of Jews.’ From Spiked, Abdul El-Sayed: tribune of America’s Islamo-left, "Palestine brain rot has corrupted the Democrats." Sarah Hoyt at Insty says IF YOU VOTE IN MICHIGAN, STOP LAUGHING AND GET OUT THE VOTE FOR ROGERS: The El-Sayed-Haley Stevens Campaign Event Has Devolved Into Total Blood Sports. Gunther Eagleman™ @GuntherEagleman, "JUST IN: Another Michigan Democrat just crossed over. State Rep. Karen Whitsett is endorsing the Republican, Mike Rogers, and rejecting El Sayed. When Democrats in Detroit start walking away, the party has a problem. Michigan, go finish it." Hugh Hewitt @hughhewitt, "Superb question by Ross Douthat and his dismissiveness of the El-Sayed go-to party trick —asking a question instead of answering one— leads AES into a meandering and absurd answer which leaves everyone aware that he will support boys in girls’ sports." Quote Mike Rogers @MikeRogersForMI, "@AbdulElSayed says it’s ok for MEN to be in girl’s locker rooms. John Reese - Person of Interest @Rickisback_ON_X, "Don't worry Alaskans, it's totally normal for a guy running for the US Senate to; not actively campaign, raise only $35K and give most of it to his campaign lawyers, and then when questioned about his authenticity, he flees his home and refuses interviews with anyone." The actual goal of the big AI providers will be to outlaw open-source and open-weight AI in order to create a regulatory moat around their business, and have some hope of earning out their astronomical capital expenditures. Flotsam and Jetsam - Is the The Alaskan Double Tap Going to Court?

After the NYT published a story backing up our long held belief that Democrats in wannabe senator Pelitola's campaign actively sought out a like named doppelganger for Sen. Dan S. Sullivan (Dan J. Sullivan) to split votes in Alaska's bizarre "ranked choice" voting system, the story has finally received some attention, and even legal proceedings. Funny how that works. Sullivan appearing on the ballot for US Senate in Alaska, and the investigation has intensified in the wake of the bombshell NYT report today. DOJ sources tell David that multiple grand jury subpoenas will be issued in the coming hours and days, and there are preservation orders to cell phone companies that are being prepared regarding text messages and emails that may build a timeline for how Daniel J. Sullivan was placed on the ballot. The investigation is being handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alaska and federal prosecutors are interested in potential charges relating to the depravation of rights of Alaska voters. Flotsam and Jets - Talarico Turns Up

As soon as they noticed he had been absent for 10 days he showed up. Stacy McCain is on it, Rumors Swirl: Where Is James Talarico? UPDATE: Talarico Appears in Public "The Talarico campaign had been stonewalling and making excuses, but as soon as I took notice of the candidate’s mysterious absence, they wheeled him out in public ... So I guess he got a day pass from the psych ward." Kyle Becker at RedState, We May Have an Answer to the 'Missing' Talarico Mystery. This Looks Bad. Really Bad. "former L.A. mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt, who is not the only one who has sources making this assertion, says that Talarico appears to have checked into a mental health facility." Spencer Pratt @spencerpratt, "My sources are telling me Talarico is in a mental health facility. His campaign has stopped actively planning events in the vital homestretch of the campaign. If this is true, this is actually a time to pray for Talarico. We should, of course, savagely mock his smug, awful campaign advisors, by all means...and while yes, of course, this would be disqualifying for Talarico's aspirations to be a Texas Senator, we must hold empathy for anyone undergoing crisis. Campaigns are brutal, and not everybody is cut out for it. You need very thick skin. As much as I don't want Talarico anywhere near government, I also don't want wish him harm, and no political office is worth having a breakdown. His awful advisors are at fault for this. They pushed him to be something he isn't, and it didn't work. I'm praying that this isn't true, and he's OK. You want to win these fights on the battlefield of ideas, not the minefield of poor health." PJM's Matt Margolis, If This Is True About James Talarico, He's Finished. Kurt Schlichter at TownHall, So Where Did Talarico Go? "He’s been missing in action since the end of September — time to send out a search party. Maybe we can help, but looking for him is like playing Where’s Waldo, except easier, because you can safely avoid barbecue joints, gun ranges, or churches that actually believe in Jesus." So Talarico might actually be crazy? It's so hard to tell with Democrats.

The case “should not be going through trial by mob,” Stepman added. “The environment in which we talk about these issues is frankly hostile to getting to the truth of them, and extremely and unnecessarily reputationally damaging for everybody involved, and it’s kind of a disgrace, honestly, the way these cases blow up, the way that the student newspaper published the names, that the whole thing, to me, is a disgraceful way to treat like a serious issue.” Quote Inez Stepman @InezFeltscher, "I have said since day one of this Cornell 7 thing that it's far, far, FAR more likely that the school violated the Constitutional due process rights of the boys involved than that it downplayed or brushed aside the allegations of sexual misconduct.
