The mouth of one of the small creeks on the Patuxent was our first stop. We caught a few here, and I lost a big one on a popper when the knot to the lure broke.
Looking up river.
We went up as far as Sheridan Point, one of the major points on the River. We caught a few more on the way up. In the distance, Chalk Point Power Plant, formerly a coal powered plant, converted to oil and natural gas.
We tried a few more sites on the way down the river, and then, with the wind down a little, stopped at the mouth and
Cedar Point, where we found a few more. Again, I lost a big fish here when the hook pulled out. We did end up with a limit of stripers (2 per angler).
