Beach Report on the Final Day of Fall 2021

A better day than yesterday; a bit colder, but much less windy, which makes colder easier to take. Some Bufflehead cavorting by marker number 3.
Channel marker 77a in front of a cargo ship headed to Baltimore, which is in turn, in front of the Eastern Shore floating on a mirage.
Lots of sand on Calvert and Long Beaches, but some fair amount of shell and gravel up above. I managed 12 teeth despite Skye's best efforts to move me along. We were on our own, as Georgia was on baby toddler sitting duty.
Some peeps working  the surf. Mmmm, yummy amphipods!
