Beach Report 12/12/21

Clear, with a moderately stiff WNW breeze, and just under 50 F.
Up near the end of the walk, there was a new fall on the cliff since yesterday. A slab of clay and sand about 20 ft long, by a foot thick, and about 15 ft high fell down on the beach and was mostly pulverized. That is why digging in the cliff is frowned upon. The waves will slowly wash it away, and the shells and other fossils in it will end up mixed in with the other debris on the beach.
Fossilwise, nothing special today, 9 teeth and a crab claw.
