People get tattoos of iconic moments all the time. But Andre Lima’s new tattoo may take the cake.
Lima was fighting Igor Severino at a UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas Saturday night when Severino, who was making his UFC debut, was disqualified in the middle of the fight for biting Lima on the arm. A Nevada State Athletic Commission doctor was called in to examine the mark. When he determined it was, in fact, a bite mark, referee Chris Tognoni waved off the fight.
Lima, though, wanted to remember the fight and the bite differently. On Instagram Saturday night, he posted a screenshot of Dana White’s story, which showed his arm with the bite mark now tattooed permanently, exactly where Lima was bitten.

| Chael Sonnen |
Former UFC light heavyweight Chael Sonnen says he plans on running for governor of Oregon at some point, he announced during a Thursday appearance on the PBD Podcast. “From the time I was a little kid I wanted to be governor of Oregon. And I will be the governor of Oregon,” Sonnen said.
“You’re thinking about running, like here soon, like in the next couple of years?” podcast host Patrick Bet-David asked him. “Yes, yes. I don’t know that I’m going to, but yes I’m looking at that right now,” Sonnen replied
Sonnen will likely run as a Republican, having previously described himself as a huge fan of former President Donald Trump. He also explained that, despite Oregon‘s reputation as a blue state, outside of Portland it’s actually heavily Republican.

“Why we’re the second bluest state in the nation? It’s just one county, it’s Multnomah County and it’s Portland,” Sonnen explained. “And the Republicans come in every single cycle and they try to appease the people in Multnomah County, they try to win them over every time. I don’t know why they do that. I will annex Multnomah County. I will put it on Zillow and sell it to the state of Washington,” Sonnen said (maybe) jokingly.
Maybe he can beat the state into shape. It can't hurt to try.

Motorious, Motorcycle Monday: Antifa Declares War On Oregon Motorcycle Clubs - This isn’t going to end well…
Back on Saturday, July 16 members of Antifa followed through on vows to try disrupting a gathering at the HonkyTonk Bar in Salem, Oregon. The result of the far-left group’s actions is what some are predicting to be a war between them and several motorcycle clubs throughout Oregon. If that sounds to you like a confrontation which would be wise to back away from, you’re not alone. What happens next could be ugly.
Originally, Antifa groups began rallying members and supporters to join a “counter demonstration” for the “Take Action Tour” event being held at the HonkyTonk Bar. They characterized the venue’s gathering as “racist” and catering to both “fascists” as well as “white supremacists.” That event was marketed by the bar as “Hero Appreciation Day” complete with a dunk tank, bike show, eating contest, live music, bouncy house, family-friendly karaoke, free hot dogs, etc.
When Antifa showed up in black bloc, their numbers were very few. Still, they used a megaphone to draw attention to the gathering across the street from the bar. Eventually, several patrons made their way over to confront the demonstrators. Arguing turned into shoving, mace was deployed by an Antifa member, then the group retreated away from the establishment entirely. Taking on biker clubs usually doesn’t end well for the opposing party since they fight back unlike moms driving their kids through downtown Portland or Christian parents holding a concern in a park, something those Antifa who showed up learned quickly.
According to several Twitter posts from accounts journalist Andy Ngo says are Antifa members, the group which confronted them was the Free Souls Motorcycle Club. The one percenter motorcycle club might not have the household brand name of the Hells Angels, however its roots run deep. Founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1968 there’s considerable controversy over the details of its foundation, history, and what its aims are today. Regardless, Antifa seems poised to take it and other one percenter motorcycle clubs on in Oregon, promising for a confrontation like they’ve never seen.
White Rose of the Willamette Valley used its Twitter account to complain after Salem police didn’t protect their fellow Antifa members during the confrontation. It said Free Souls and “other uniformed security” both “attacked and injured community members peacefully protesting” without supplying details or other evidence. Unlawful whatever on Twitter claimed “one of ours” was hospitalized from the fight, retweeting a different person claiming “Salem police literally backed away” when the Free Souls came out to confront them. Another Antifa account proceeded to dox several people involved in the confrontation, tagging their supposed employers as well as releasing other personal details.
Awe, the cops didn't risk their lives to save Antifa a few lumps? Too bad!
Bonchie at Red State, Portland Residents Learn What Consequences Are as Democrat Policies Ravage Their City
Journalist Andy Ngo, who chronicles Antifa aggression across the country (but got his start in Portland), released the clip showcasing a series of people whining about homeless encampments in the city. Worse, anytime contractors try to clean up and sanitize the areas in question, Antifa attack them with no reprisal from Portland officials.
"I'm living in a nightmare neighborhood"

Portlanders break down in tears over how @PortlandGov has allowed their neighborhoods to be run down by encampments. Efforts at any clean-up is strongly resisted & sabotaged by far-left activists allied w/Antifa. https://t.co/q1JeMR1bqa pic.twitter.com/1fgKuNjY3j
There are two ways to respond to this as someone from the outside looking in. I could recognize that these people are in a tough position, having no real way to enact immediate change as their neighborhoods are destroyed by homeless encampments that bring with them rampant crime and even sickness. Conversely, I could note that Portland is one of the bluest, far-left cities in America and that its residents, including likely everyone in that video, continually vote for Democrats who do nothing but make the situation worse.
Take a guess at what response I’m going with.
They vote stupidly.

Repression Down Under
We’ve been writing a bit about how Australia has been cracking down on those who dare leave their homes for non-essential reasons during the most recent lockdowns there, but here’s a piece about Western Australia cracking down on bikers. Bikers can’t gather in public, wear club logos or insignias, or even display tattoos. What if you have a tattoo somewhere you can’t easily cover with clothing? Well, in that case, you’ll have to use makeup or something or face arrest.
I initially thought this was one of their weird WuFlu responses, but it turns out to be merely an attempt to force outlaw biker gangs back under cover. It won't work, of course.New biking laws ~

with 2 x Motocross Champion Marina Grubb:
Grubb grew up in the eastern European nation of Ukraine and did not throw a leg over a motorcycle until after she moved to the United States in 2012.
It was encouragement from her husband, Derek Grubb, that helped her get over her nervousness about riding. Grubb had raced dirt bikes in his youth and had gotten back into riding in his mid-30s. He taught Marina how to ride off-road and, later, how to ride on the street. Grubb enjoys riding both on-road and off-road.
Marina quickly became enamored with motorcycling, and motorcycles featured prominently in the couple’s wedding ceremony.
Grubb said her family was unable to travel to the 2012 wedding from the Ukraine, so they rounded up several of dirt-bike friends for a ceremony on the Hatfield-McCoy trail system in West Virginia.
“We rode our dirt bikes to a spot on top of a mountain, where we were met by a preacher and a ranger,” she said. “It was great [fun] splashing mud on each other.”
Grubb next decided to give off-road motorcycle competition a try.
She competed in an off-road race in 2016, and raced for the first time in the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series in 2017.
In 2018, Grubb raced a KTM 250 XC-W in seven Sprint Enduro Series events in the Women’s Novice Class. She won the last five events and claimed the 2018 class championship.
She also tried out for Maxim cover girl, and placed 6th in the quarter finals.

Gov. Hogan Exerts His New Found Power
From Pirate's Cove, How Many Cops Are Needed For A Non-Lockdown Compliant Restaurant? 15Are you enjoying your Modern Socialism test drive, people?Pictures, please?
Port Deposit business owner facing charges for Sunday crowdsIf people were following social distancing rules, what’s the problem? Carey said there were more like 10 motorcycles in the parking lot.
Maryland State Police from the North East barrack have sent information to the Cecil County State’s Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution of Lee’s Landing Dock Bar for alleged violation of the Maryland COVID-19 regulations.
However the owner of the business, Dave Carey, said he was following Gov. Larry Hogan’s regulations for social distancing and crowd size “to the letter of the law” and is troubled that 15 uniformed officers from 4 different law enforcement agencies responded to Lee’s Landing Sunday.
Greg Shipley, spokesman for MSP, said police were at Lee’s Landing at Rowland Drive in Port Deposit Sunday around 2:30.
“Responding troopers estimated the crowd upon their arrival to be about 70 people who were on the ‘boardwalk’ portion of the business. Individuals were seen eating and drinking,” Shipley said via email.
Troopers said they were at the Port Deposit restaurant a week ago responding to reports of large numbers of patrons. Sgt. S. Spayd said Sunday that the law enforcement agency had to return this Sunday and found more than 70 motorcycles in the parking lot.
My guess is that this restaurant has become a meeting place for the local bikers, and this effort was more about discouraging the bikers than enforcing the WuFlu restrictions.“The investigation indicated the restaurant was selling ‘to go’ food and drink orders, but some of that food and drink was being consumed on the premises,” Shipley said. “The crowd dispersed and those who remained were determined to be waiting for carryout orders.”If they were staying 6 feet apart, what’s the problem? Oh, right, Fascists want to Fascist. Just a little taste of power.
Carey said Maryland State Police were joined by Cecil County Sheriff’s Deputies, Maryland Transportation Authority and Perryville police. According to Carey when police arrived they found his staff taking orders and handing those orders — in plastic bags that were tied shut –over to customers. Customers were in measured lines with proper spacing and staff wore masks and other protective gear.It really takes four law enforcement divisions for this? And then they wonder why there are protests?

Rack 'Em Up!
A Spanish speed circuit is in hot water after an advertisement for grid girls stipulated that they "must have a size 95 or 100 chest," which is roughly 36" - 38" according to La Vanguardia.
"For a car and motorcycle event we are looking for two ladies who will be available from Friday April 5 through Sunday April 7," reads the ad. "There is a payment of €200 net, plus any additional costs. There is one requirement: you must have a chest circumference between 95 and 100 cm."
The requirement was published by the Madrid-based event organizer Garbo Events, and was immediately censored by both the local government and the track's management - which completely distanced itself from the large rack requirement.
"What we understand is that some team has requested that request and the only thing we can do is to denounce it," said Circuit director Manuel Muñoz.
The firm responsible for the ad, Garbo Events, has also backpedaled on the ad - calling it an "error" made by an employee who "took a job offer four years ago and copied it in its entirety." They also said they don't work with clients who make boob-size requirements. So they wussed out after all? Or will they drop it from the ad, but continue to choose what they want? Well, get woke go broke. That's the last Spanish race I'm going to go to.
FWIW, back in my working days, one of the other labs had an extensive field program that involved carrying heavy incubators into and out of the field, and onto boats. To avoid charges of sexism, one of the requirements for the job was to be able to lift the damn things into the back of the van. Only one woman could do it, and she kept the job for 20 years.
