Hey, why not? Everyone else seems to be getting one. On his last half day of "work" former President Biden issued two sets of preemptive pardons. Early in the day the white house released pardons for Anthony Fauci, Gen. Milley, the entire Jan. 6 Committee, and the members of the Capitol and DC police who testified to the committee. Then later, while the inauguration ceremony was getting started, they released a second blanket pardon Biden's family, brother, sister, their spouses and children, much like Hunter's that started upon Joe Biden's assumption of the Vice Presidency in 2011. “The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense,” Biden said in a statement. “Our nation owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.”

It’s customary for a president to grant clemency at the end of his term, but those acts of mercy are usually offered to everyday Americans who have been convicted of crimes. But Biden has used the power in the broadest and most untested way possible: to pardon those who have not even been investigated yet....
