I'm Back

Another last minute half-day walk on trip with Walleye Pete. The weather was fine, the sunrise was pretty, but the fishing was awful. We only had one hook up, and that was lost.
There was a large flock of Longtail Ducks (aka Oldsquaw, for us politically incorrect oldsters) hanging around. They feed on the bottom in fairly deep water. Occasionally one would surface near the boat, realize how close it was, and go squawking off). At least that was amusing.
The cliff, showing a big, recent slide on the left.

After I got home and had lunch, we took a beach walk. The weather continued to cooperate, in the low 40s with what light wind we had from the SW, which the beach is pretty well shielded from by the cliffs.
The tide was high, but not so much we couldn't get well up the beach.
The best of 13 teeth, a pretty, medium sized (about 1 inch) Snaggletooth upper parasymphyseal (close to the centerline of the mouth). I found a significantly bigger ruin of about the same tooth, however.
