Flotsam and Jetsam - Ray Epps Gets One Year . . .

Of Probation. Former Oath Keeper Ray Epps, who publicly urged people to go into the Capitol on Jan. 5 and 6, and who led the rush on the Capitol on the 6th, but somehow didn't actually enter the Capitol itself, had pled guilty to "disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds", and sentenced to one year of probation, despite many people having walked through the building peacefully, or even assembling the steps outside having been sentenced to years for felonies. James Lynch at Da Caller,  Ray Epps Sentenced To One Year Probation For Conduct During Jan. 6th Riot

Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia James Boasberg sentenced Epps to 12 months probation after Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors recommended Epps serve six months in jail for his conduct on and ahead of the Jan. 6th, 2021 Capitol attack. He is also ordered to pay $500 restitution. (RELATED: Biden Compares Jan 6 Protesters To Confederate Soldiers, Dubs It Second ‘Lost Cause’)

Epps pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count for disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds in September after coming to a deal with federal prosecutors. Epps’ legal team suggested he serve a probationary sentence in response to prosecutors’ sentencing memo arguing for six months probation.

Dave Strom at Hat Hair points out how Arizona Allows Noncitizens to Vote in Federal Elections (With a Wink and a Nod)

You must be a citizen to vote. Wink wink, nod, nod. Really, you must!

But if you aren’t, we’ll let you vote in federal elections, such as for Congress, Senator, and President of the United States. No questions asked. To do otherwise, you see, would be voter suppression. Really, it would be!

There are a lot of well-meaning people who honestly believe that the border policies pursued by the Democrats are all about compassion, decency, and a sincere desire to help oppressed people from around the world.

Bulls**t. This is raw politics. Joe Biden has opened the floodgates and is importing somewhere between 8-12 million new illegal immigrants into the country. There is going to be massive voter fraud in the next election. The way that they are accomplishing this is making it nearly impossible to track down who was eligible to vote and who wasn’t.

Ballots will be distributed like Monopoly money, collected by “ballot harvesters,” and counted by corrupt local officials, and they hope that by doing so, they can eke out a victory or better than that.

Do the illegal immigrants streaming into the country know they are part of this scheme? Most likely not. Will most of them participate in it? Probably not. It’s not like most of them came into the country as willing participants in a scheme to steal federal elections.

But will the flood of illegal aliens, many of whom are getting driver’s licenses in states like my own, Minnesota–19 states and the District of Columbia–be used to rig the vote? Certainly, throw in motor voter and lots of illegals will be automatically registered to vote, even if they don’t intend to. Ballots will be sent, collected by operatives, and returned.

It may be easier in some places than others. It will probably be haphazard. But our elections are sometimes so tight that it can make a huge difference- the difference between Joe Biden winning or losing the electoral college.

Judge Pan hypothesized if Trump could be immune from prosecution if he — and we're not making this up — sent SEAL Team 6 to kill a political opponent." At The Right Scoop, Trump to deliver closing argument HIMSELF in civil fraud trial. Capt. Ed, "This is not a good idea, especially for someone as rhetorically undisciplined as Trump. He’s not an attorney and has demonstrated that several times in public statements that have contradicted his legal defenses in key ways. In this case particularly, Trump might end up corroborating elements of the plaintiff case in ways that could render potential appeals worthless. That’s especially true in a trial in which the judge has already determined that fraud occurred. There is no jury to impress here, only a judge to further annoy." But then, it's a show trial, with foregone conclusions, and he's going to give them a show.

Hat Hair's KT, Heads Up, Charlie Baker: Riley Gaines Joins NCAA Convention Protest to Save Women's Sports

The annual convention for the NCAA is set for January 10 to 13 in Phoenix. Protesters who hope to save women’s sports will rally outside the convention. They will demand an end to transgender athletes competing in female sports events.

NCAA swimming champions Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan will be among the women protesters. Scanlan was a teammate of Lia Thomas, a male swimmer who competed on the UPenn swim team. When he was unable to win as a male swimmer, he was allowed to compete on the women’s team as a transgender athlete.

Former Governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker, a Republican, now is president of the NCAA. Gaines criticizes him for avoiding the issue of transgenderism in women’s sports. Fox New online ran a blistering opinion piece by the Senior Director of Government Relations for Concerned Women for America.
