Beach Report 9/7/24 - Meg!

We just got on the beach after a line of clouds passed by, and kicked up a wind from 10 kts to 25 over a few minutes.
There's the cloud line to the south. It was mostly dry; we didn't get any rain with it.
Georgia found, in a shell line on the way back, what may well be the tooth of the year. A Hubbell Meg. Suspected to be the baby teeth of Megalodon sharks, they have a unique heart shape, but all the other characteristics of a Meg tooth, the bourlette, the serrations.

I suspected what it was, but fortunately, Paul Murdoch was nearby to confirm my guess.
