Beach Report 9/24/24

Another totally overcast day, with temperatures in the upper 60s.

In the end, we were chased off the beach by a rain shower.
The tide was nominally low, but quite high. Still there was a lot of shell hash and gravel to check out.
My first tooth was this fine little White Shark tooth. Georgia found just the tip from one that would have been a monster.
I found this Snaggletooth on the way back in the beach where I'd already looked on the way up. Did I miss it the first time, or was it uncovered by wave action?

23 teeth between us and an inordinate number of crab claws, 4.
The crabbers are still working.
So are the Ospreys.
