Beach Report 2/17/25

Clear and cold, in the high 30s, with a 10-15 kt NW wind. The wind were an improvement over last night, when they hit 20-40 knots. But the result was a blow out tide, with the low well below the astronomical prediction

Georgia couldn't make it because President's Day closed the schools, and she didn't think Gabby would have a good time.
Surprisingly, blowout tides often aren't very good for fossicking, and today was no exception. I found three shark's teeth and a porgy tooth, but one of the shark's teeth was pretty good. This upper Snaggletooth was up well above the water, already being covered by wind-drifted sand.
