A cloudy, but relatively warm day for January. The tide was pretty low, so I made it way up the beach, and the Tundra Swans were up there, standing around in the shallow water. I did OK for teeth, 18, but only one remarkable one. Not a good picture, but this appears to be a White Shark "file" tooth, filled with sediment hardened into stone.
"File" teeth are hollow teeth, presumed to result from a shark dying, and leaving behind unfinished teeth from the file behind the front tooth.
