Back From Fishin'

Pete called a walk on for today. It was blowing a gale yesterday, but it was supposed to calm down late this morning. We started at 9 AM, and tried the Patuxent River for a while, where we found lots of seagulls working around loons and bait, but no takers.

Tom with a good fish.
Eventually, the wind did die in the Mainstem of the Bay, and we ventured out. Pete knew where he'd had stripers before the blow, and they were still there, just south of Location X.

Me, with a better fish.

Sunset with sun dogs over Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Moon set over the ruins of Cedar Point light.
