Oregon, My Oregon

From Ace, Judicial Watch Lawsuit Compels Oregon, Against Its Will, to Remove 800,000 Ineligible Voters from Its Voter Rolls -- Nearly One Quarter of All Eligible Voters In the State

Don't look now, but that thing that never happens is happening again.

BREAKING: Settlement of a Judicial Watch lawsuit has forced the review and removal of some 800,000 ineligible voters from Oregon voter rolls
Judicial Watch is deservedly crowing:
Judicial Watch announced a settlement in its federal lawsuit against Oregon election officials, which confirms 800,000 ineligible voter names are slated for review and removal from voter registration lists. The settlement requires state officials to produce detailed data and enforce federal voter roll clean-up procedures under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA).
I should say that of the 800,000 ineligible names, only 160,000 are being scrubbed now; the other 640,000 will be reviewed and scrubbed from the lists later.

Sadly, this means my ability to vote in Oregon, last exercised in 1982, is probably being eliminated.

Also, Cathy Salgado at PJM reports Sanctuary Oregon Releases Newlyweds’ Killer

William Micah Carter and Jennifer Lynn Lower were still in their honeymoon phase, only 16 days married, when an illegal alien who should never have been in our country, let alone with a license to drive professionally, took their lives, as DHS described:
On November 24, 2025, Rajinder Kumar jackknifed his semi-truck and trailer, blocking both lanes of U.S. Highway 20. A Subaru Outback collided with the semi-truck, tragically killing both the driver, William Micah Carter, and passenger, Jennifer Lynn Lower…On April 2, 2026, Oregon sanctuary politicians refused to cooperate with ICE and RELEASED Kumar back onto the streets of Oregon. On April 22, 2026, ICE arrested Rajinder.
ICE is holding Rajinder in Tacoma, pending deportation. There really are no words strong enough to condemn the leftist Oregon politicians who chose to release the killer, knowing what a horrific crime he committed.
