See the little black dot just to the left of center? It was a Bald Eagle. It swooped down and hit the water, but apparently came up without anything. Eagles are nearly a good at this as Ospreys, who are all gone on the their southern vacations.
One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

Beach Report 10/31/25
The tides are about back to normal after the very high tides from the recent nor'easter, but there has been a lot of erosion in places. A pretty nice day, near 60 F, and a brisk west wind.
