The tides are about back to normal after the very high tides from the recent nor'easter, but there has been a lot of erosion in places. A pretty nice day, near 60 F, and a brisk west wind.
See the little black dot just to the left of center? It was a Bald Eagle.
It swooped down and hit the water, but apparently came up without anything. Eagles are nearly a good at this as Ospreys, who are all gone on the their southern vacations.
