I almost didn't go today. A quick, vicious stomach bug went through the house yesterday, and I was feeling a little light headed. But I toughed it out, and I'm glad I did.
It was clear and cold today, only 36 F or so. Fortunately, the wind was reasonable, only 5 kts or so, mostly from the north.
I stumbled on this little Megalodon tooth up on Matoaka. I don't know if it's small or juvenile enough to be considered a
"Hubbell" Meg, but it's in very good shape. I put it out there on Facebook for the experts to judge.
Update: Consensus is that it's a Hubbell Meg.
