Beach Report 12/10/25

Definitely a seasonal day. An overcast day. Temperatures have warmed up to mid 40s, and a stiff south wind barely touched the beach.
The tide was decent, and at least the northern end of the beach had nice gravel.
Mako my day! The 2 most interesting of 21 sharks teeth. On the left a small Hastalis, commonly called a Mako shark, but actually the ancestor of the Great White. On the left, what I'm reasonably sure is a small Isurus retroflexus, the Miocene version of the Long-finned Mako.
