Beach Report 10/21/24

A warm fall day, nearly 75F, with blue sky, and calm seas,

Even though we hit the low tide nearly exactly, and there was lots of gravel and shell, teeth were pretty elusive.

Georgia found this exceptional, if slightly flawed White Shark tooth up in the dry. 1 and 11/16ths inches. It's at least 1/8th inch longer than the previous best for the year. If I thought I had the skill, I'd try to repair it with some gray epoxy.
The local crabber is still working. And I even saw one lonely Osprey. I yelled at it to go south for the season.
