While I've avoided it until now, the Guthrie kidnap caper is heating up. Yesterday the FBI released a partial Ring camera video that they managed to extract from Googles clutches. It showed a ski-masked, gloved and armed man approach the door and disable the camera. It's hard to believe it was a well organized affair, more likely a burglary gone wrong, which is not good for the family, but probably helps law enforcement quite a lot. It hard to imagine there's not a local cop who looked at the video and said "that's probably X." Later that day SWAT forces were deployed, and a man was detained, questioned and released.
