Beach Report 12/4/23

Skye and I were on our own today. It was a warm day for December, pushing 55 F, and all but windless under partly cloudy skies.
The tide was nominally low, but not very, if you know what I mean, and we had to wade to get around the rocks.
A pretty good day for teeth, 16 including this bone breaker upper parasymphyseal Snaggletooth, somewhat the worse for wear. It came as a bit of a shock, I saw a funny dark shape under water, but I had no idea what it was until I picked it up.

Bay Journal, After 40 years, Chesapeake Bay Program yields mixed results "Collaboration made inroads in science and policy, but the vision of a 'restored' Bay is changing."

In other words, send another $25 billion, we'll totes fix it this time, pinky swear!
