Flotsam and Jetsam - Trump, Others Indicted in Atlanta

Let's not blame all of Georgia, it's an Atlanta (Fulton County) DA, and Atlanta Grand Jury, a jurisdiction that voted approximately 90% for Biden, or, rather, against Trump. But it wouldn't be so fun without a slightly suspicious story to go along with it. Even before the Grand Jury voted the Clerk posted the indictment online, where it was reported (did someone notify the press?), causing the DA to say the posted indictment was fictitious, even though it proved to be a virtual copy of the actual indictment. Paula Bolyard at PJM, Something Weird Is Going on in Fulton County, Where Trump Is Expected to Be Indicted. VodkaPundit at Insty, THE FIX IS IN: Clay Travis@ClayTravis "Per@reuters Fulton County, Georgia posted the Trump felony charges before the grand jury may have officially returned the indictments. Just shows you what a banana republic we are living in right now." At Breitbart, Fulton County Court Publishes, Removes Trump Indictment; ‘Due Process Violation.’ Sundance at CTH, Fulton County Georgia Briefly Publishes Then Removes Trump Indictment Document – The “Special Grand Jury.” At Insty, BREAKING: Fulton County DA Hands Down 10 Indictments in Trump Case. "No surprise, they posted the charges before the grand jury indicted. UPDATE: Here’s the full, 98 page indictment." At Am Spec, George Parry calls David Weiss: A Not So Special Counsel, "The man behind the failed plea deal to protect Hunter Biden should not be leading the investigation into his misdeeds." Dr. John at Flopping Aces, says Impeach David Weiss first. At Town Hall, Guy Benson has Two Crucial Questions Merrick Garland Ignored. "If Weiss had all the power he needed all along, and Shapley was wrong about Weiss' private griping about lacking desired authority on the case, why finally give him that title, extremely belatedly? And if one of the triggering events behind Garland's faux concession (I'll explain what I mean by that in a moment) was the implosion of Hunter's even-more-outrageous-than-known plea deal in open court, why hand more power to the man who signed off on it?"

Matt Vespa at Town Hall reports Here's What Happened After Joe Biden Snapped at a Fox News Reporter Last Week. At NewsMax, a Report: Biden Campaign Nixes MSNBC Talk Over Hunter. The great Victor Davis Hanson, tags on Joe Biden’s Race Against the Truth, "What is the long-term Democrat strategy that requires such short-term malodorous skullduggery?" Hat Hair's Dave Strom notes Regime media strikes again at WaPoo.

Some enterprising reports surprised Slow Joe by asking him about the terrible fire in Maui. He said only "no comment" because, apparently, his handlers hadn't yet decided what he was allowed to say. Insty, TRUNALIMUNUMAPRZURE: Biden’s Response When Asked About Maui Death Toll Is Truly Cold. "Without that “magical ‘D’” after Biden’s name, this would be a George W. Bush and Hurricane Katrina moment for the DNC-MSM. As Mickey Kaus wrote at the height of the media pummeling Bush over Katrina, “Katrina gives them a way to talk about Iraq without talking about Iraq. No wonder Gwen Ifill smiles the ‘inner smile.’”" The NYPo ed board, Joe Biden is indifferent to the Maui fires because he’ll win Hawaii anyway. At Breitbart, Joe Biden Slammed for ‘Disgraceful’ Response to Hawaii Disaster: ‘Katrina Moment?’ From Twitchy, Biden post about being 'LASER FOCUSED' on Hawaii aid following his NO COMMENT debacle does not go well. 'Bonchie' thinks affirmative action hire Karine Jean-Pierre's Maui Fire Comments Devolve Into an Embarrassing Mess of Incompetence.

At the Free Bacon, Biden's Favorite Super PAC Used Illegal Scheme to Conceal Its Donors, Experts Say, "Biden just months ago condemned dark money as a threat to democracy" Yes, but only when Republicans use it. Capt. Ed, "All of this nonsense comes from the incentives set by campaign finance “reform.” If we want transparency in political donations, strip tax-exempt status from all PACs and super-PACs while removing donation limits to candidates and political parties. Any cumulative amount over, say, $500 will have to be fully disclosed in FEC reports. That won’t get money out of politics, but it will at least get money out of the shadows."

Steve Cortes at Am Great notes Media Lies About ‘Bidenomics’ Two wasted words. "Working-class citizens suffer as told by numbers on small business, trucking, boxes." Roberts’s majority decision in its prompt: ‘Nothing prohibits universities from considering an applicant’s discussion of how race affected the applicant’s life.’ Then the school asks applicants to ‘describe how you believe your goals for a college education might be impacted, influenced or affected by the court’s decision.'” Althouse reads the NYT, "How will the life experiences that shape who you are today enable you to contribute to Harvard?" "A question on the new Harvard admissions application, quoted in "Colleges Want to Know More About You and Your ‘Identity’/With affirmative action banned, application essays ask about 'life experience,' the one place in admissions where discussing race is still explicitly legal"" At Da Caller, Red State University Reverses Course On Shuttering ‘Diversity, Equity And Inclusion’ Offices, Despite State Law.
