The difference between a good tooth, and a ruined tooth. The tooth on the lower left (it is the remains of a big Mako) has been broken, swallowed and digested, and then beat up in the surf. The upper Snaggletooth in the upper right might as well be fresh out of the shark's mouth.
A couple of minutes later I picked up this pretty little lower Snaggletooth.
A great day for fossils, 37 sharks teeth, and some other random stuff.
