Another pretty nice midsummer day, partly cloudy, temperatures around 80, with tolerable humidity and a light WNW breeze. Although you can't see it in these pictures, there were a lot of people out on the beaches, swimming despite a few sea nettles, sunbathing, fishing, or even fossil hunting.
We had a pretty good low tide, at least to start with. There was a lot of debris, and green algae, sometimes washed up in piles, that made it hard to look in the surf zone.
We did have some success, though. I found this 1 3/8 inch Mako Shark lower tooth among the 29 teeth we picked up
