It just keeps coming.
Hillary Clinton’s “there’s no evidence of that” line of defense over her e-mail mess continues to crumble in the face of . . . new evidence.
For all her talk of how using a private e-mail account for her work running the State Department was just fine, it’s now plain she left top-secret information vulnerable to hackers.
More evidence is likely to come out. The FBI’s probe has now expanded to include another private server she used, a backup service with Connecticut-based Datto Inc.

Add to this new details about Hillary’s e-mails with longtime aide Sidney Blumenthal — e-mails that somehow didn’t make it into the data she finally handed over once word broke that she’d failed to share her work product with the government.
Her extensive communications with him include the naming of a CIA source (obviously classified) as he pushed for action in Libya — action that would benefit his clients.
“It is curious Secretary Clinton took so much of her advice from someone who had never been to Libya, professed no independent knowledge of the country and who the White House blocked her from hiring,” said Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), who heads the select committee trying to finally get to the full facts on the deadly Benghazi attack.
Curious? Hey, in Clintonworld, blending policy with pocket-lining is routine — national security be damned.
As a member of the human race, Hillary Clinton no doubt has a spine. But her backbone has been more than a little difficult to detect in recent weeks as she opts for one politically expedient position after another ahead of Tuesday's first Democratic debate.
She has decided to oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, trade pact. She's against the Keystone oil pipeline. And she wants to repeal the so-called Cadillac tax on high-end health insurance plans.

The positions she has taken are the easy way out. They involve siding with unions, environmental groups or those who advocate throwing yet more taxpayer subsidies into the health care system. They might not even be good politics, as they will make it more difficult for her to move back to the center for the general election if she wins her party's nomination.

Democrats have moved to the left at least as quickly as the Republicans have moved to the right. . . .Democrats’ loss of governorships and seats in state legislatures has disconnected the party from small towns and suburban middle-class communities — especially married-parent households and small business owners — so that Democrats increasingly represent, on one hand, the affluent urban elite, and on the other hand, the urban poor. The Democrat Party has a lot of college professors and high-school dropouts. The GOP voter is usually somewhere in the middle, a married parent employed in the private sector. . . .
As the Democratic Party lost power at the state level over the past 15 years, it also effectively shed its moderate wing. Centrist Democrats have increasingly lost seats to Republicans, “resulting in a more liberal Democratic party” overall. The authors find that the ideological median of Republican legislators has shifted much less.
So if Hillary Clinton is having a meltdown while trying to figure out why those damned kooky Democrat primary voters are going for a socialist like Bernie Sanders, whose fault is that, really?

Her two signature achievements — HillaryCare, later reborn as ObamaCare, and her management of the State Department — both look like dismal failures.
There is only one attribute left that she can’t bungle, switch sides on or turn into a scandal: having double-X chromosomes. So that’s now what her campaign is about. “Hey, America,” Hillary is saying. “Did you realize I’m a woman?”
She’s got to be the first candidate ever to deploy the motto “Vote for the Skirt!” while wearing a pantsuit.
A canned campaign line she keeps using (rolling it out again on NBC’s “Today” show Monday) is, “Folks want an outsider in this election. Who can be more of an outsider than a woman president?”
It’s the kind of line that kills with the campaign consultants. Yet when When Hillary first arrived in Washington, “Cheers” was still ruling Thursday nights. She has been in town longer than the Capital Grille.
