Meanwhile, palm trees continue their war on humanity, NBC Miami, Miami-Dade deputy hurt in rollover crash after crashing into palm tree
It happened at around 3:25 a.m. in the area of Northwest 21st Avenue and Northwest 74th Street in Gladeview. The sheriff's office said the on-duty deputy was driving north on Northwest 22nd Avenue when they hit the tree, causing the vehicle to rollover. The deputy was able to get out of their marked vehicle "with lacerations to the upper extremities."
No word yet on how the dastardly palm tree caused the collision.
