Beach Report 11/14/21

Cool today, with clouds in and out. We had frost on roofs last night for the first time this year, but our recording thermometer showed a low of 32.9 F, and struggling to reach 50 during the day. It's supposed to warm up later in the week, though.
Not a bad little Snaggletooth, among the 17 teeth we picked up. I particularly like the brown color, but it will probably dry to gray like most of them

First Frost

It's flirted with 32 F a few nights recently, but last night, after a rainy, and sometime snow showery day where the temperatures stayed barely above freezing, it dropped to a chilly 26 overnight. Which means the leaf fall will start in earnest.

A vet tip via Ed Driscol at Insty:

The first statement is a lie. Skye wanted out at 3 PM last night, and is still curled up in the garden, despite having a dog door to get in. As to the second? I don't know, but I have my suspicions.

First Frost!

It dropped to 30.1 F overnight, according to the backyard Accurite. A little late according to the climate planting charts. Walking with Skye to get the paper, and satisfy her need to sniff verified frost on cars parked on the street and mailboxes. Nothing this dramatic:
