Flotsam and Jetsam - The Charlotte Horror Show

Iryna Zarutska
Stacy McCain is on it, ‘Blood Visibly Drips on the Floor as the Defendant Walks Away From the Victim’

"The headline quotes from the affidavit for the arrest last month of Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr. in Charlotte, North Carolina: Detectives obtained video from inside of the train car. The video is clear and of ID quality. The victim enters the train car and sits in the seats directly in front of the defendant. The train travels for approximately four and a half minutes before the suspect pulls a knife from his pocket, unfolds the knife, pauses, then stands up, and strikes the victim three times. Blood visibly drips on the floor as the defendant walks away from the victim. The victim goes unresponsive shortly after the attack. The defendant is the assailant on the video. There appears to be no interaction between the victim and the defendant."

The many mug shots of Decarlos Brown

How can this happen? A guy with an armed robbery conviction on his rap sheet, so dangerous that his own mother kicked him out of her house, so crazy that he calls 911 to report his delusions, gets turned loose without paying a cent of bail. His own public defender tells the judge that his client lacks the “mental capacity” to participate in court proceedings, the judge orders an “evaluation” — yet this violent psycho is nevertheless permitted to continue wandering the streets until one Friday night when the voices in his head tell him to stab a complete stranger in the neck for no apparent reason. Did I mention that in November 2024, Kamala Harris got 65% of the vote in Mecklenburg County? Because that’s the only possible explanation that comes to mind.

Democrats are objectively pro-crime. It is the de facto policy of the Democratic Party that mentally ill criminals should be turned loose on the streets until they stab somebody in the neck. Democrats are the psycho killer party, and the people who vote for Democcrats don’t care how many people get killed as a result of their policy. Like I keep telling y’all, Crazy People Are Dangerous.

WBTV cited by Hat Hair, When Do We Say 'ENOUGH': Horrific, Senseless Crime in Charlotte. Beege Welborn, The Unspeakable Evil Progressives Have Unleashed Strikes in Charlotte. Mayor Vi Lyles @CLTMayor "The video of the heartbreaking attack that took Iryna Zarutska’s life is now public. I want to thank our media partners and community members who have chosen not to repost or share the footage out of respect for Iryna’s family. This was a senseless and tragic loss. My prayers remain with her loved ones as they continue to grieve through an unimaginable time. Like so many of you, I’m heartbroken — and I’ve been thinking hard about what safety really looks like in our city. I remain committed to doing all we can to protect our residents and ensure Charlotte is a place where everyone feels safe." Collin Rugg @CollinRugg, "You sound more angry towards people sharing the footage than you are towards the violent thug who stabbed Iryna. Bizarre." End Wokeness @EndWokeness, "0 AP stories on this deadly attack 0 PBS stories on this deadly attack 0 NYT stories on this deadly attack 0 NPR stories on this deadly attack 0 WSJ stories on this deadly attack 0 BBC stories on this deadly attack 0 CNN stories on this deadly attack 0 WAPO stories on this deadly attack 0 Reuters stories on this deadly attack 0 MSNBC stories on this deadIy (sic) attack." But lots of Daniel Penny stories. Bonchie @bonchieredstate, "Yet, we had a national conversation over a high school student smiling at a Native American who was accosting him." Quote AG @AGHamilton29, "It really is something to take note of what national news outlets choose to cover and which stories they choose to ignore. I just checked because I assumed this was an exaggeration but can’t find anything on the North Carolina attack in the NYT, CNN, WaPO, the AP etc." Insty, at his substack discourses on From Rabble-Rousing to Rabble Snoozing. "Journalists do whatever the narrative requires at the moment, but does it still work?" At PJM Athena Thorne calls it The Image That Killed the Democrats in 2026 and Beyond. If only. From the Bugscuffle Gazette, You may think I'm rude, "But I don't care. . . I have been told that my “aggressive body posture” upon sight of someone at the height of their public bi-polar dissociation is “rude”. I am informed that standing up and escorting Rita to a different table in a restaurant when a trustee of modern pharmacology wanders in is “not very compassionate”."

At Hat Hair, Josh Hammer discourses on Trump's National Guard Deployment and the Art of the 80-20 Issue "What's remarkable is not just the specific policy suggestion itself -- after all, federal force has been called in to assist state-level law enforcement plenty of times -- but rather how Trump is once again baiting his political opponents into defending the indefensible. " At Twitchy, Ted Cruz TRIGGERS Mouth-Breathers By Noticing Something Peculiar About the D.C. Protest for MORE Crime. Ted Cruz @tedcruz, "Why are the protesters all white?" Quote Resist the Mainstream @ResisttheMS, "JUST NOW: Protesters flood the streets of DC to protest President Trump's federal takeover." Kurt Schlichter @KurtSchlichter, "The only black people there are cops." Quote Julio Rosas @Julio_Rosas11, "Anti-Trump protesters in Chicago chant “Fund the schools, not the Guard. Get the hell out of our backyard” while marching through downtown." That's not fair, I saw at least one black guy. Twitchy, So, That Protest Of Old White Lefties in D.C. Pushing for MORE Crime? Insurrection Barbie Just BUSTED 'Em. Insurrection Barbie @DefiyantlyFree, "Although the “We Are All D.C.” protest was presented as a grassroots march, it was primarily organized by Free DC, a fiscally sponsored project under Community Change and its political arm, Community Change Action. These are long-established national nonprofits that manage projects and provide infrastructure, meaning the protest wasn’t simply a spontaneous, local effort but part of a larger, professionally coordinated network. The ACLU also partnered in the organizing, bringing additional national resources and visibility. . . ." Mike Benz @MikeBenzCyber, "every time you see “spontaneous” substitute the word “sponsored” in your head" Quote Democratic Wins Media @DemocraticWins, "BREAKING: An enormous protest has broken out spontaneously in DC against Donald Trump’s militarization of the city. This is how you fight back." Jack @jackunheard, "BREAKING: JB Pritzker says he has MOLES inside the Trump administration leaking info to him: “There are a lot who work in the administration, or work at the departments or the military, who let us know things without having permission to do so.” ????" I don't doubt it; there are lots of feds who still need to be fired. From the Free Bacon, Obama Lawyer to Trump: Leave The Cartels Alone! I suspect Democrats are getting money from them. Francis Menton, the Manhattan Conservative hears Susan Monarez Tries To Justify The CDC And Herself. "Oddly Ms. Monarez writes as if CDC exemplifies these ideals, without ever saying a word about the facts, which are that CDC, over the course of decades, completely abandoned the principles of honest science in favor of bureaucratic aggrandizement and partisanship." Roger Kimball at Am Great, says The Issue Is Never the Issue: Senate Hearing Turns Into Proxy War, "RFK Jr.’s Senate grilling wasn’t about COVID or the CDC—it was a proxy battle over power, Trump, and who controls the narrative." Sundance at CTH hosts Sunday Talks – RFK Jr. Outlines How Demetre Daskalakis, Former Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Intentionally Hid COVID-19 Vaccination Data and has Thoughts on Robert F Kennedy Jr Congressional Testimony. Meat Head @markeatsmeat, "RFK didn't link Tylenol with autism. The dean of Harvard's School of Public Health did." Nisha Patel, MD MS, Dipl of ABOM, CCMS @DrPlantel, "You’ve got to be shitting me. This is a slap in the face to every woman who has ever been pregnant. How dare RFK Jr. target mothers with fear and misinformation? There is no proven link between Tylenol use in pregnancy and autism. Tylenol is one of the few safe medications available for pain and discomfort during pregnancy, and now it’s being demonized without evidence. This isn’t public health. It’s reckless fearmongering."

Joel Kotkin at Unherd says Don’t judge Trump’s economic agenda on one jobs report "Sometimes entrenched problems need to be purged, and in this Trump has been effective." Fox Bus, OMB forecast: Trump's economic agenda will cut deficit by half over the next 10 years. "The OMB's review credits the deficit reduction to Trump's sweeping spending reforms, tariffs and deregulation, all accomplished in the first six months of the president's second term." Eric S. Raymond @esrtweet, "I don't have to be a Trump fan to find it hilarious that all the tweets predicting that he would get booed at the US Open aged really, really badly. As usual, the best argument in Trump's favor is the character of his enemies." Quote Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh, " BREAKING: A new angle has been released of President Trump getting a STANDING OVATION in NYC at the U.S. Open. You can see the attendees turning to face him all throughout the crowd."

Rasmussen Reports @Rasmussen_Poll "Georgia: The 2020 Election was over four and a half years ago and these 140K+ paper election ballots are apparently so radioactively counterfeit that the state judiciary would rather be seen as completely corrupt than to order them finally brought out of that warehouse." Quote KevinKelton @KevinKelton2, "Replying to @SMCosta6 @Rasmussen_Poll and 2 others, Judge Robert McBurney continues to ignore the GA Court of Appeals order to reconsider this remanded case, and nothing is happening.
