“The Select Committee on Monday created and provided Representative Schiff a graphic to use during the business meeting quoting from a text message from ‘a lawmaker’ to Mr. Meadows. The graphic read, ‘On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all.’ In the graphic, the period at the end of that sentence was added inadvertently. The Select Committee is responsible for and regrets the error,” a spokesman for the select committee said in response to inquiries from the Federalist.

The committee cut off half a sentence and paragraphs of further information, then added a period and changed the format so it appeared to be the whole message, the outlet reported.

Schiff didn’t doctor the text message, you guys. He only fabricated a screenshot that didn’t exist, deleted half a sentence, added punctuation where there was none, deleted two paragraphs, and had no clue it wasn’t even written by Jordan.

It’s fair to say that Pelosi has deputized Cheney to be the face of the select committee, which ostensibly is investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The subpoenas include all individuals on the subscriber’s account and everyone those people messaged or spoke to. The time frame the committee demands data on is far-reaching: any and all contact with the individual for two to three months prior to January 6 and all the way to January 31, 2021. This is tens of thousands of moms, children, clergy, reporters, and Republican and conservative influencers who were in touch with everyone from White House aides to prominent activists.

According to a new Election Integrity Scorecard from the Heritage Foundation, all 50 states and the District of Columbia received a grade based on several election-related categories: voter ID requirements, maintaining accurate voter registration lists and rules on absentee ballots, just to name a few.

A perfect score in providing for honest elections would be 100.

Georgia had a total score of 83, while Hawaii had a total of 26.
