The tide was pretty high, on it's way down, and there wasn't a lot of beach to spare up on Matoka, but there were a few good areas with lots of shell hash and gravel spread out for convenient examination.
We scored 18 teeth, and a couple of crab claws, with this parasymphyseal Snaggletooth being the best.
The eagles were out an hunting. I caught this one just after he/she/it swooped on the water and seemed to come up empty.
But this was the only Osprey I spotted. They certainly have a distinctive sound.
