After 3 days away from the beach due to rain, we finally got back. Unfortunately, the tide was super high, both because it was the time for high tide, but also because of storm surge, and there wasn't a lot of beach to be had, and we didn't get walk as far as usual.

When we got back to the parking lot, a pair of fawns were grazing, while keeping a close eye on us.
