Flotsam and Jetsam - Election Week Lingers On

Suddenly, An ONT Appeared
And on and on. Can you imagine we're still talking about the results of the election? Trump beat Harris, the Senate is currently 53-46 Republican with the race in Arizona yet to be settled. Althouse, "Republican Kari Lake took yet another bite out of Democratic U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego’s lead in the race for Arizona’s open U.S. Senate seat on Friday evening." ""After cutting nearly 13,000 votes off Gallego’s lead on Thursday and Friday morning, Lake gained about 2,100 more votes when Maricopa County released the results of nearly 100,000 ballots just before 7 p.m. The state’s largest county is expected to release another update Saturday morning.... Gallego... was ahead 5.4 points in the initial results posted after the polls closed on Election Day...." KTAR News reports on the only Senate race that is still not yet determined." The House contests appear not to have advanced much since yesterday, with Republicans holding a lead at 215-205, but needing 218 seats to hold the House. They'll probably get them, but I imagine they'll be some litigation along the way.

Liberals continue to gnash their teeth in public. Erin Adair@ErinAdairG "The GROWN ADULTS going into absolute hysterics, filming their deranged, paranoia fueled meltdowns, POSTING them, & calling off work today are the same people who think they’re more intelligent than you. In what world should adults who behave this way be calling the shots?" Stacey Matthews at LI documents more Leftist Women Absolutely Lose It After Donald Trump’s Election Victory. At Hat Hair, Who Wants to Tell Rosie? Oli London@OliLondonTV, "Rosie O’Donnell finally breaks her silence after Trump’s landslide victory; suggests getting rid of the Electoral College vote. “Get ready because we’re in for one hell of a ride. With him at the helm. No immunity guardrails….how about we get rid of the Electoral college?”" Ted Balaker, Milk, Cookies, and Therapy Dogs: Trump Wins and Universities Ramp Up the Coddling. Capt. Ed at Hat Hair comments "The radical Left runs Academia, and the radical Left's agenda is entirely centered on victimization and infantilization. That makes for easier indoctrination, especially in the absence of true education. They want a generation of thumb-suckers that will allow themselves to get herded by autocrats." From Twitchy, 'Red-Pilled in Real Time': Charlamagne Notices What Dems Are NOT Saying About Trump Since He Won “Don’t y’all find it strange that now that he’s won, they’re not calling him a threat to democracy? They’re not calling him a fascist ... I would think that, if you really believe that, then somebody’s speech would be about how America effed up and how things are about to be really bad. It just makes you wonder how much of it did they really believe, or how much of it was just politics."  Benny Johnson@bennyjohnson, "Joy Reid is upset that Gen X voted for Trump and that Latinos voted for mass deportations of illegal immigrants." Kim Strassel at WSJ, A Landslide Against the Media, "News organizations tried to prop Biden and Harris up. How did that work out?" Dave Harsanyi at WaEx has Good news: The public has stopped listening to mass media. Capt. Ed says it's because "They know it's a referendum on their deceit. That's why they've been getting increasingly more hysterical about Trump, Republicans, conservatives, and especially their competition in independent media, especially podcasters."

At Mediaite, ‘F**k Us, F**k Me, I Was Wrong’: Jon Stewart Reacts To Trump Win, Mocks Democrats’ ‘Ground Game’ Fantasies. Capt. Ed adds "This is a pretty honest take. I wonder how many of Stewart's fans appreciate it, though." MRC NewsBusters@newsbusters, "Democratic Strategist shocks CNN with brutal truth about her party: "We are not the party of common sense... stop with the virtue signaling and speak to people like they’re normal."" Da Signal, What Explains ‘Missing’ Votes Between 2020 and 2024? @amuse @amuse "ELECTION INTEGRITY: Colorado—unlike any other state in the union—saw an unmistakable leftward shift in voting patterns in the most recent elections. The timing, juxtaposed against a broader national trend of rightward-leaning shifts, raises some pertinent questions. Why did Colorado buck the trend so decisively, and at such an unusual time? This is the same Colorado that, under Secretary of State Jena Griswold, experienced a catastrophic breach of election security. Colorado’s voting machine BIOS passwords were posted online for anyone to access months before the election."

At Ace's FBI Brass "Stunned" and "Shellshocked" By Trump Win, "The FBI is one of our main "intelligence" services. We are cooked as a nation unless Trump can fix things fast. Apparently one thing they fear: That Trump will re-establish the fitness tests the fat-asses and man-tits canceled, and force their fat soft weakling asses out the door." "Here's the "extreme actions" FEMA took to discipline this degenerate bitch: The employees say that Washington has not been punished for the guidance, but has been shifted to another county in Florida. If there is any evidence that anyone died due to this racist's actions, charge this bitch with Murder."

The Peacock whines Judge hits pause on Trump's election interference criminal case, "The prosecutor said he would notify the court in December about how he plans to move forward, likely the first step in unwinding the case against Trump." Capt. Ed adds, It's over, at least at the federal level. Smith is taking the first steps to confirm reporting from earlier in the week that the DoJ plans to withdraw the special counsel and quash his indictments. Merrick Garland may not be ready to announce that yet, but at this point he has little choice. Sauron's Eye sees Judge in Trump 2020 election case agrees to cancel court deadlines after his presidential win. Capt. Ed, "Via Andy McCarthy at NRO, who observes: "Democrats’ lawfare in federal court is at an end — which underscores that, all along, it was an attempt to prevent his election." Next up is the Manhattan sentencing, and Andy has thoughts on that as well.""
