Beach Report 6/18/22

Skye and I headed down to the beach right after lunch. We stopped by a patch of Milkweed by the side of the harbor to watch (and take pictures) of some butterflies. A big female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail enjoys a sip. She's somewhat the worse for wear, having lost a big chunk of her right hind wing.
And a Monarch. There were more. And the patch smelled wonderful.
A big change from yesterday. The temperature was down 20 degrees, to the lower 70s due to a blustery west wind.
It was too rough and sandy for good hunting, but by working around in some shelly and gravelly patches, we managed 10 fairly ordinary teeth.
