A fossil dog biscuit? Seriously, I suspect it's a whale (or some other cetacean) phalanges, aka finger bone. Despite a blow out tide, it was tough fossil hunting; only 9 teeth and a couple crab claws. I blame the wind, which made my eyes water.

Beach Report 2/20/22
A tough day today. Temperatures about freezing, with clear skies and a 20 kt wind howling out of the east. But Skye doesn't care.
A fossil dog biscuit? Seriously, I suspect it's a whale (or some other cetacean) phalanges, aka finger bone. Despite a blow out tide, it was tough fossil hunting; only 9 teeth and a couple crab claws. I blame the wind, which made my eyes water.
