A Congressional Perjury Charge for Clinton.com?

Trey Gowdy’s exchange with FBI Director James Comey about his get out jail free pass to Hillary Clinton is one for the record books. In one fell swoop, Gowdy exposed both Comey and Hillary. And it appears Gowdy has bigger judicial plans for Crooked Hillary.

Gowdy appeared to be setting Hillary Clinton up for perjury charges. Corrupt Hillary previously testified about her emails to the House Benghazi Committee. Specifically Hillary said under oath that she had not sent or received classified documents on her personal email server.

Under cross examination from Trey Gowdy, Comey admitted that Hillary lied. Since she was under oath, this sets her up for being charged with perjury.
Chaffetz Tells FBI Director He'll Get a Referral to Investigate Clinton's 'Statements Under Oath' Within Hours. It's been a long time since anyone was jailed for lying to Congress, but this would be a good place to start.

Another Congressman heard from, former CIA Officer, Will Hurd, (R) Texas: Congressman and former CIA agent Hurd: Dems don’t understand how classified information works
“Mr. Chairman, I’m offended. I’m offended by my friends on the other side of the political aisle saying this is political theater. This is not political theater. For me, this is serious. I spent nine and a half years as an undercover officer in the CIA. I was the guy in the back alleys collecting intelligence, passing it to lawmakers. I’ve seen my friends killed, I’ve seen assets put themselves in harm’s way, and this is about protecting information. The most sensitive information the American government has, and I wish my colleagues would take this a little bit more seriously.”
The Director Of The FBI Wants Us To Believe Hillary Is A Moron
Democrats have been framing the entire investigation as a GOP witch hunt, even after a secret server and a host of serious, and potentially illegal, activities had been unearthed. The “conspiracy theorist” talking point has codified within the liberal punditry. Every liberal questioner on the committee ran interference for Clinton, bringing up distractions and strawmen—including usage of private email accounts by congressmen and former secretaries of State, none of whom had been accused of transmitting state secrets through their accounts — rather than asking pertinent questions about the negligent transmission of sensitive state secrets. Instead, led by the histrionics of Elijah Cummings, Democrats acted like it was an affront to democracy to challenge the findings of the administration in the middle of a politically charged case.

Which specific question posed by Republicans in this case was out of line? It was odd, to say the least, that the FBI obliterated Hillary’s fiction in such public way, but then refused to recommend prosecution. Comey might be well-respected, but that doesn’t make him (or the FBI) immune from the political pressures of this election. And just because Republicans had nice things to say about him in the past shouldn’t impede them from grilling him now. Because the idea that Hillary Clinton didn’t have any intent to circumvent the law is as implausible as the idea that she was being honest after her system was discovered. The only way to believe that would be to believe Clinton has an IQ of about 50. And no reasonable person does.
It's not that she's a moron, it's that she cares more about her freedom to collect graft than the security of the country. The Wall Street Journal examines Jim Comey’s Clinton StandardHe shows how she broke the law then rationalizes no indictment. Kevin Williamson at NRO thinks This Bananas Republic: Mrs. Clinton couldn’t get indicted if she tried. Ashe Schow at the Examiner says buck up, boys: James Comey gave GOP plenty of material against Clinton, now they need to use it properly. But that would not be a Republican strong suit. Chuck Todd: Let’s face it–Trump is blowing this opportunity the FBI gave him to attack Clinton

At the WaPo I’m a lawyer specializing in security clearance cases. Hillary Clinton got off easy. Another Lawyer: Oh yeah, you bet the FBI gave us the ‘Clinton Defense’ on matters far less serious than an unauthorized server kept in a basement
Yet, even lawyers who plan on using Comey’s findings as precedent to get their clients off the hook in future legal entanglements of this nature also acknowledge that Clinton and her entourage engaged in “egregious security violations,” and that if it were any other person—security clearances would’ve been revoked. The latter can be devastating to future employment in government work. As McClatchy reported, Thomas Drake, a former National Security Agency official who was put in the legal crosshairs for telling the press about waste within the agency’s surveillance apparatus, is now relegated to working at an Apple store.
The Washington Post Lefties in contradiction: Milbanks Republican attacks on Comey undermine the rule of law versus Colbert King's Clinton’s deplorable disregard for proper security.

Clinton herself ventured onto the field of battle, and complained that the FBI director was 'speculating' when he said her system was vulnerable to hackers. That's because she destroyed evidence by having the server wiped and will not agree that she was "extremely careless" and finally settled on blaming the 300 State Department employees who sent classified material to her private, unsecured server when she claimed My record as Secretary of State proves I take classified material seriously:
Clinton phrased this carefully enough that the shifting of blame from herself to others is relatively subtle. But when Pelley pressed the point by asking, “Well, were you extremely careless?” Clinton offered a more blunt version of the same statement. “No I was not,” she said. She then added, “And neither were the 300 people who sent me that material, Scott.”

So it’s not her fault and, by the way, 300 other people were more responsible than she was. Of course, they weren’t the ones who set up a private server which became the only way to communicate with the Secretary of State by email. That wasn’t someone else’s doing, but whatever.

Run Bernie, Run! Jill Stein to step aside to let Bernie Sanders have the Green Party nomination. .
The Green Party convention is in August. Too good to happen. Donald Trump is being willfully stupid about Saddam Hussein. So is Hillary Clinton. Hindsight is always 20-20, or worse.
