Georgia Has the Big One

We left Skye behind today to recuperate and so we could venture a little farther than she's able, and left early to try to beat the heat;  we were sort of successful, but sweat was still streaming off my forehead onto my glasses by the time we finished.
We met this little girl when she was a puppy a year and a half ago in winter.  She's grown up into a fine looking Siberian, and still cute a button.
Georgia's "big one."  It's a small Megalodon tooth, but the only one we've found this year so far, and an awfully nice tooth.  So every time I found another small tooth, she'd remind me it's the size that counts.
An interesting craft.  We saw it go by later, with a father and young son.
The butterflies were out in force.  Eastern Tiger Swallowtails were up and down the beach puddling.

But this black one turned out to be a Spicebush or Green Clouded butterfly.

We got up as far as the Wineberry bushes we found the other day, and picked two bags of berries for desert tonight.  Georgia is seen resting in the shade (well, partial shade) while I unsuccessfully looked for a larger tooth than hers.
Georgia insisted on showing off the big tooth in the colander of berries...
